For several years, the summer blueberry craze has been observed. Purple spots on the hands, purple tongues and grunts of satisfaction are a symptom that is characteristic of every fan of these delicious pastries. Many of them are able to stand in a long queue for a summer delicacy.

We also get carried away by this madness and have been baking blueberry rolls for you for 4 years.

Jagodzianki to the max filled with fresh, sweet blueberries straight from the forest, wrapped in a delicate butter or vegan cake and generously sprinkled with crispy crumble.

And so we quietly whisper to you that there are no long queues in our place, and blueberry rolls can be ordered for a specific day in our online store.

When will the blueberry season finally come?

We hope that as soon as possible ... Unfortunately, everything depends on the weather and when the berries will appear in the forests and ripen. Recent years have shown that the season for these delicious, tiny fruits lasts about 2 months. We bake blueberry rolls only in July and August. Sometimes, when there are no blueberries in the Wielkopolska forests, we collect them from other regions of Poland. This sometimes causes that we offer very limited quantities of pastries. However, we always try very hard not to run out of them for anyone.

Can the season be extended?

Definitely not, although we would love to! At Gingerbread House, we rely only on seasonal, fresh fruit. The taste of blueberry buns with fresh, full of aroma, ripe fruit is inimitable by blueberry buns baked with frozen blueberries. So it's worth enjoying their taste while summer lasts.

Where does the high price of blueberries come from?

The high price is an indicator of the high quality of our pastries. We use real butter and eggs for the dough, and we fill the blueberry rolls only with fresh blueberries. In a large, very large amount! Some of our customers say that our blueberry rolls are not stuffed buns, but blueberries wrapped in a layer of delicious cake.

Of course, we make each blueberry roll by hand - from the stage of kneading the yeast dough to wrapping the buns and baking them. Each of them is a promise of rich flavor and different textures - soft, delicate dough, crunchy crumble and sweet and sour filling made of lots of sun-warmed berries.

A large part of jagodzianki offered by chain confectioneries are pastries based on margarine and powdered eggs, with blueberry and currant jam filling. However, we focus on quality and we believe that it will be appreciated by our best customers.
